Course Description:

Learn from real industry guests and hands-on experience how valuable engineering/technical contributions are made for exisiting products and processes. Pair statistical tools with business context and communication skills to provide credible recommendations with measurable impact. The guest-focused and experiential learning environment provides students with exposure to the realities of how engineers provide significant value to companies and influence business decisions. 

Each week will include discussion around an improvement methodology and an experiential learning challenge for teams to tackle while practicing the skills they've learned. Often, we will also be joined by industry guests who will share examples of the types of projects and results they have achieved in their engineering leadership careers. The teaching team and mentors will be available to provide guidance and support as the teams progress through their challenges.
