Elizabeth Schanne is an Engineering Leadership Associate for the Gordon-MIT Engineering Leadership Program. She participated in the GEL Program as an MIT undergrad, serving as the Student Leader for one semester of her senior year. Elizabeth joined the GEL staff as a part-time employee in 2020, adding valuable industry perspective to the Engineering Leadership course (6.9120).

Elizabeth started her career at Apple as an Engineering Project Manager. During her time there, she launched several accesory products and ran multiple R&D projects. After several years at Apple, she returned to Boston to help startups improve their hardware development process.

In addition to her role at MIT, Elizabeth currently works full-time as the Senior Engineering Program Manager at WHOOP, where she is responsible for driving and optimizing their hardware engineering product development.
